Zeropost ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Zeropost mobile application and website.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: Email address and name when you create an account.
- Mail images: Photos of mail pieces you scan. Processed by Google Cloud Vision and not stored after processing.
- Removal requests: Records of opt-out requests filed on your behalf.
- Usage data: Basic app analytics including features used and scan counts.
- Device information: Device type and OS version for support purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- File opt-out and removal requests with senders on your behalf
- Track the status of your removal requests
- Send notifications about removal status updates
- Provide customer support
- Improve sender identification accuracy
- Process subscription payments via Apple App Store
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- Your physical mailing address (unless you choose to provide it)
- Financial information (payments processed by Apple)
- Location data
- Contacts or other personal data from your device
4. How We Share Your Information
- Senders: We submit opt-out requests on your behalf including your name.
- DMA Choice: For DMA-member senders, we submit opt-out requests to the Data & Marketing Association.
- Google Cloud Vision: Mail images sent for text recognition. Not retained after processing.
- Supabase: Secure data storage. Data encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Resend: Used to send opt-out emails on your behalf.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and removal history for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account screen. Mail images are deleted immediately after processing.
6. Security
We use encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data storage, and row-level security policies that ensure your data is only accessible to you.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights (Texas Residents)
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell personal data).

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
